Our Management team will design and advise on any size networks from a few closely linked outlets to many hundreds of outlets across a campus site. Using any  available/existing/required media. E.g. Coax, twisted pair, proprietary system, fibre optic, wireless etc.

With the increasing use of fibre optic technology, the Company have established a highly skilled Fibre Optic Division and have become Corporate Members of the Fibre Optic Industry Association (FIA). So ensuring constant updates and training to meet the rapidly expanding growth in fibre optic installations.


Professional Services


R G D King Ltd, in response to the demands of many clients, developed the unique NETchecKING package, which, using highly sophisticated Network General Corporation Analysers collects statistics from all segments of the networks. 
From the information obtained, a complete analytical report is prepared and submitted to the client together with advice on future strategy.

Project Management is essential to the success of any major undertaking and R G D King Ltd, with its long association with the larger IT companies and the construction industry offer an exceptional professional service. Project Managers are available from the design stage through to the final handover to the client.

To assist  both the client and installing staff, CAD facilities are used from the design stage through to the completion of a project, including final 'As Fitted' drawings. This CAD facility is also available to clients for projects/installations not undertaken by R G D King Ltd.

Maintenance and Support Services

All works undertaken by R G D King Ltd have a minimum twelve month warranty against failure of workmanship or component while some installations have up to fifteen years warranty.
An extended warranty can be provided at the end of the normal warranty period at an agreed cost. Installations, even those not undertaken by the Company, can be covered by a maintenance agreement, subject to a survey.
The agreement can be tailor made to suit client requirements covering a range of response times and can include any of the following services:-

  • 24 Hour Call Out

  • Fibre Optic Cable Repair

  • Co-Axial Cable Repair

  • 6 Monthly Physical Network Check

  • Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

  • Electrical Certificate Checks

  • Periodic Safety/Emergency Lighting Checks

 

Supplies Services
Following the establishment of the R G D King Ltd specialist Network Department and subsequent Fibre Optic Division, the company now stocks a full range of communications cables and network components. Including:-

In line with continuing efforts to improve services to clients, items are made available for re-sale. Orders may be telephoned or faxed and usually be supplied ex-stock or within 24 hours.
Special requirements may be telephoned to the Network Department who will be pleased to offer advice or assistance.
